Mauritius Redfish and Weekend Specialties 1.28.16 January 27 2016 Posted in

We all need a little escape from last weekend’s snow dump.  If you’re not on a beach right now, we’d highly recommend a figurative vacation in the form of Mauritius Redfish.  On the gorgeous island of Mauritius, innovative fish farmers are raising a delicious redfish.  Mauritius Redfish are given nutritious, sustainable feed and plenty of room to grown.  No chemicals are used and artisans conduct daily dives to check on the health and welfare of the redfish and surrounding environment.  These practices yield a high quality fish with a delicate flavor and rich texture.

Sub redfish for striped bass in this great roasted striped bass with olive tapenade and star fruit recipe

Of course, if you don’t feel like cooking, stop on by Cull & Pistol and get the market fish, which will feature Mauritius Redfish all weekend.
