Bay Scallops and Weekend Specialties 11.6.15 November 05 2014 Posted in

Bay scallop season is underway and we’ll have four different types in Lobster Place and Cull&Pistol.  The Peconic bay scallop season started this Monday and we’ll have shucked and live scallops on the half shell.  Word on the bay is that the season is off to a strong start.  In case you want to compare and add to the age old debate of what bay scallops is better, we’ll have Martha’s Vineyard Bay scallops as well.  Of course, if you don’t feel like cooking, come on over to Cull&Pistol where were featuring Martha’s Vineyard bays, fresh cranberries, pickled crosnes, and brown butter (pictured above).
