We don’t have to remind you its cold out there.  This winter has been brutal and this string of near zero temps are finally taking their toll on supply.  Take a look at the above picture from our friends at Acadia Aqua farms who bring us our Maine blue mussels.  That’s Frenchman’s bay you’re looking at and it’s completely iced over!  Of course when the deep freeze is on from the Chesapeake up to Maine, this means shellfish and finfish are particularly hard to come by.  Not to worry though, we still have plenty of oysters from the Canadian Maritimes (the ice is so thick it doesn't faze them) and finfish from points south to keep you happy for the weekend.
