Triggerfish and Weekend Specialties 9.23.15 September 23 2015 Posted in

We have some great Triggerfish coming in from the Atlantic coast of Florida.  Triggerfish aren’t caught in large numbers commercially, but they have somewhat of a cult following due to their firm, lean flesh and fine flake.    Triggers can be found year round, but they’re most common in the summer caught using hook and line or as by-catch from trawler and gillnet fisheries.  Check out this baked Triggerfish with dill recipe here.
