Blood Clams and Weekend Specialties — October 2, 2014 October 01 2014 Posted in


Those clams you see are Blood Clams and the red coloring is due to high levels of hemoglobin.  Make no mistake from their appearance, Blood Clams are deliciously crisp and are not as briny as littlenecks.  Fortunately for you, we managed to get our hands on a small amount of these succulent clams straight from the Cape for the weekend.  Raw bar keeps getting better.
