Haddock and Weekend Specialties 1.14.16 January 13 2016 Posted in

While New York is undoubtedly a cod town, perhaps we should take some lessons from our friends up north in New England and start to embrace Haddock a little more.  Everyone has seemingly forgotten that haddock are the most prized member of the cod family because of their delicate flavor and melt-in-your-mouth texture.  If you suddenly feel as if you’re missing out, never fear, we have a great run of haddock coming in this weekend from the Gulf of Maine!

Check out this great smoked haddock recipe
