Blowfish Tails and Mother's Day Specialties 5.5.16 May 04 2016 Posted in

First Blowfish tails of the year are in this weekend, marking another unofficial start to summer. Rest assured, we’re not talking about the poisonous Fugu. These blowfish tails come from U.S blowfish (or Sea Squab) and are perfectly harmless. They’re prized for their fillets, which resemble tiny chicken drumsticks, with a single bone running between two morsels of flesh. The meat is lean and white, and meaty rather than flaky.

Mother’s day is this weekend and we have plenty of great options for the special day so come on by and make mom proud by showing off your cooking skills!
