Despite being such an ugly fish, monkfish sure does pack a lot of flavor. Most people experience the tail meat, which some describe as the “poor man’s lobster.” As delicious as monkfish tails are, the monkfish liver is really the crown jewel. With fat content of about 40%, monkfish livers eat like the foie gras of the sea. Check some out this weekend to see what all the fuss is about.
