New Zealand Green Lipped Mussels and Weekend Specialties 4.27.17 April 26 2017 Posted in

For the first time ever, we’ll have fresh, live New Zealand greenshell mussels in house this weekend.  Due to the long travel time, these mussels typically come in frozen on the half shell.  Fortunately for us, we’ve been able to source live ones directly.  These mussels are much bigger than your typical blue mussel (upwards of 4 inches long) and have plump meats and a sweet and tender taste.  Don’t sleep on these!
